F-61 came up on a panasonic home theater system i once owned and switched off.
it turned out to be a faulty cooling fan at the rear of the receiver. once replaced all was well.

hope this helps.

Buy the fan from your local computer part dealer - costs no more than 5 EUR. With a small mod it will fit in perfectly. I replaced mine but it did not solve the problem with F61, unfortunately.

I have a Husqvarna 61, it starts fine and will cut wood happily for the first five minutes of use, but then it looses power and stalls. It will start again fine, but then cuts out again soon after....

Start withe the inexpensive stuff first, pull the fuel hose out of the tank and change the filter on the end, by your discription it could also be an electrical issue, the early 61 had a two peice system, an electronic block to the left of the flywheel, and a coil at the right, if you have this system check the where the yellow two wires connect under the head of a self tapping screw under the coil, if the connection is ok it may well be a case of replacing the electronic box. The later 61 has a single peice ignition system, this may be breaking down when it gets hot, and need replacing.
Let me know how it goes, and if you need help with part numbers etc.

Hi fi wont turn on !

hi. im assuming its a technics / panasonic system judging by the F 61 error code? try testing the cooling fan at the rear (assuming it has one) i once had the same error code on my technics amp and it turned out to be a faulty cooling fan. after replacement out of a scrap unit, the amp worked perfect.
