Question about Nikon Coolpix S210 Digital Camera

My camera has stopped doing any transfers to my dell xp home pc. i have about 350 photos already transferred(9 transfers) Am I at max capacity? I suspect that my HP printer, 5600 series software may be conflicting with coolpix software?? Can you please advise...

ok, thank you. at this time I prefer to ask another expert. Appreciate your suggestions.

I want to thank you for your suggestion on using the back of the pc USB port. It seemed to accept the transfer. Not sure why but you probably know the reason that it did. Not everything was transferred but it did trfr all but the latest photographs taken today were transferred to the pc. Thanks again.

Base from the description of your problem this can be a connection problem or a software conflict. First thing to do here is to disconnect the camera from the computer and also the printer then connect the camera to the back USB port of your computer then restart the computer and camera and check if that will make everything working.

    ============================================================

Right, please try with another USB cable that can be damaged internally.
Regarding Printer software, if printer software pop up upon hooking camera then it would be wrong setting of USB in camera, check camera lcd that shows is it set on mass storage or pic bridge.

    ok, no problem.
last option is to take out memory card from camera and put it in memory card reader to download/ transfer picture files in computer.

Transfer iPhone photos to home computer

When you connect your iPhone to your computer you can access the photos that are on there on your desktop. If you have a Mac they will already be in iPhoto waiting to be imported. If not then you can just click on your iPhone in My Computer and you can access the pictures that way.

Just hook the camera up with the supplied cable to any xp, vista, or 7 computer and the drivers should already be on the computer to transfer photos over to the hard disk drive of the laptop or desktop in question.

Canon PowerShot S51S camera, trying to transfer photos from computer onto the memory card so we can use the card in a digital photo frame? Don't know how to transfer?

you have to use the data cable (which one come with your camera) to store pictures to your XP/Vista PC. Just connect the cable into your camera and PC, your PC detected your camera automatically as an drive, then you can transfer pictures.

If you are using Windows XP unplug your camera from your PC and uninstall the Kodak software. You don't need it to transfer photos to your PC. The next time you connect your camera (turn the camera on) to your computer it should recognize it and you can use Windows built in transfer software. TRANSFER TO PC

Hook up camera let windows say find new hardware. FOllow the prompts. Acording to Sony Xp has the driver already unless it is a 64 bit. See Below:
  • The drivers needed to connect most Sony® cameras and camcorders to a computer are already included in the Windows Vista and Windows XP operating systems. With these drivers, you should be able to connect and transfer files to a computer.
Note: If the your camera or camcorder is not recognized by the computer when connected, you may need an updated driver.
  • Detailed Windows Vista compatibility information is available for Sony Cameras and Camcorders.
  • The Windows Vista Starter edition and Windows XP 64-bit operating systems are not supported.

remove the SD card from the camplug it into your PC. If it has no card slot, get a USB card reader. Less than $20 usually. Make sure the card reader can handle the SDHC (hi-capacity) cards if you plan to use those. If XP recognizes the card it will appear like an additional hard disk. Open it in windows explorer, check the directories until you find your video or photos and copy those to the hard disk.
