Question about Philips 9P6444C 64" Rear Projection Television
Late model transistors have "low" resistance between B & E, typically ~53 ohms. You can check this out by going to the NTE web site, input the transistor pt nbr, they will show an NTE replacement. At the end of the line, they will have a jpg or pdf diagram of the transistor. I think you will find that 2SD2359 has an internal resistor from b-e and a diode from e-c.
