Question about GE Ovens
We keep getting function error code F3 on our GE model JKP26 oven. It usually happens about 15-20 minutes after reaching the set temperature and seems to happens more often at higher temperatures (above 350 degrees).
Thanks for using FixYa. Error F3 in your range/oven means oven temperature sensor circuit failure. To resolve this issue you’ll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Tips for a great answer:
Hi - Typically error code F3 indicates a faulty sensor probe or wiring harness between sensor probe and EOC. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the circuit breaker off for two minutes (this usually will clear most false error codes). Turn on the range and if resetting the unit proves to be ineffective, I would recommend contacting a professional to move forward accurately.
