Either the speaker is blown OR more likely, the switch on the headphone jack fails to connect the speaker when headphones are unplugged. The contact gets bent causing the problem.

I have everything set up and then when I plug in my phone and play the music no sound will come out, just a humming noise.

Check that you DO have signal from the phone..

Some smart phones 'autodetect' an earphone and won't drive a signal wire.. So use a two way 'splitter' in the signal lead from the phone to monitor maybe..

I can hear only one side of the sound coming out from Korg triton extream keyboard. It's not the cable problem for sure. i tested both the earphone out put and the Left and right out put. Did a

So you're saying with headphones you also only hear one side? I would suspect the internal amp is panned all to one side. There are also several other settings in this unit where pan can be set so you may have to check several areas. If you don't have any specific custom settings made I would try a restore to factory defaults. If that doesn't resolve it you likely have a hardware failure which is likely not repairable. I strongly suspect a panning issue though.

What caused my wurlitzer model no. 625 to stop playing after removing the ear phone plug I had inserted? I get electric static when turned on so I know it's getting electricity.

Well if the removing the earphone plug and the unit no longer working aren't a co-incidence? Then perhaps the earphone socket has faulted and cut off the speakers, output. You see in an earphone socket there is an additional set of contacts, that makes & breaks the line to the speaker and routes it to the earphones, often these contacts will stay open, after the plug is withdrawn. and thus stop any output from going to the speakers. Or sometimes the solder join on the PCB can break and the effect is the same.
The only way to tell is to examine the unit and check this out. As mooted before though, i do wonder if this isn't a co-incidence, and the fault is to do with something else, often these units fail in the area of the output amplifier IC's. The unit really needs to be put through the troubleshooting procedures to exactly tell. If one was to attempt a DIY, then at the least one would need to obtain a service manual, for these steps and to obtain the parts numbers to buy any spare parts.
Above is a place to assist you with a service manual, should you wish to DIY? However, Wurlitzer's are a complex device, and my professional recommendation is to get a "Quote" for any prospective repairs, from a Wurlitzer repairer.

A large amp like this likely has protection circuit (probably a relay) that doesn't connect the speakers until the amp is stable and balanced. You relly need the schematics for the amp.

you have a bad cable (wire) or a bad jack (where you plug in your earphones) plug your output into another device (guitar amp for example) and see if the problem persists. if it does then it is most likely internal problems with the output jack. If this is the case you will have to take the unit apart to find out where the problem is. if you're not comfortable doing this then you will have to take the unit to someone who is.

Berhinger acx 1000, power on, no sound amp not working, everything lights up on display but no sound or amplification

Just had the baby brother (ACX450) with this problem...opened the amp... screws from sides and or top (including 2 hidden under handle covers).

The power cable from the power transformer had come off the connector on the circuit board in spite of goo they had put on it. Put connector back on and secured the cable and works perfect,

Since your display lights, yours is likely a different problem. I have also seen similar ones that the cable to the speaker had been pulled off its connection on the circuit board, rendering no sound. See if you have sound at headphone jack. and if none, how about the preamp output jack? Note you will only hear the left side using earphones as these jacks are monaural.

There is OFTEN a felt strip that the keys come up against at the lip of the case, either near the end of the keys or right where they disappear near their middle. SOMETIMES this strip gets knocked off.
