Question about D-Link DI 514 Wireless Router (DI-514)
We have storms every now and then and everytime the power goes out the Wireless Router does not want to turn back on. It has no lights on, i unplugged the power supply and i even tried the reset button nothing seems to work it just will not turn on. Any idea whats causing this and how to solve this situation?
The cause is the power-supply "brick" to the DI-514.
It has failed.
So, it's time to buy a "surge-suppressor" (sometimes integrated into a high-end power-bar) and to buy a new router, for less than $80, in total, to be protected and be ready for the "next" storm.
