Question about GE DBXR463EBWW Electric Dryer
I have a similiar dryer to the GE DBXR463EBWW , it may be the same. I can only remember the last few letters of the model number. It makes a strange noise when it turns, almost like it is having trouble turning but the speed appears the same. It stopped turning all together so I unplugged it from the wall and when I did it blew the breaker. I inspected the wiring and plugged it back into the wall and it started working again but with the same noise so we have not ran it since.
Hi thanks for the question on the ge dryer the blower loosens off the motor shaft and then rubs on the front to check disconnect power open door a few screws on the inside of floor top remove screws lift top remove 2 screws on inside of front remove front set aside blower is on left see if the blower is too far forward if so loosen 3/8 nut push blower back tighten the nut good and tight re assemble and try te dryer thanks the appliance doc
