Question about Dell Inspiron 1545 Notebook
Is it better to buy a assembled desktop or a standard one? also will it cost less if I buy a desktop with out a graphic card( i prefer 512mb one's) and later on buy a graphic card and fix it myself?
I have a custom build that cost about $1400 and is equivalent to about a $2000 system pre-made. Computers are not very hard to build as long as you aren't putting all sorts of custom mods in it. i suggest you desktop with powerful features http://www.electrocomputerwarehouse.com/shopexd.asp?id=515

It sounds like you are a novice when it comes to understanding how to troubleshoot and repair a PC.
I would recommend that you get a packaged system that carries at least a 1-year parts and labor warranty. Dell has some excellent deals on desktop systems and their warrantees technical support are very good
