Question about Powerline Netgear XE102 Ethernet Bridge Network Adapter - XE102 (XE102NAR)
I have an XE102 hooked to aWGX102 which has worked well for years. Last night, I had no internet connection but a strong signal. I found the Ethernet light on the router was out and the bottom Ethernet light on the XE102 was also out. Internet through another port is fine. Unplugged, replugged, changed cables, changed plug. Still only top 2 lights. Does this mean the XE102 is now history?
Also if it needs replacing, does it have to be a XE102 to connect with the WGX102 or will an XE104 connect? Thank you very much.

-- Xe102 device is simply a plug n play device
-- so if the connection light shut off after some time
-- first hard resett the powerline adapter
-- and after that get the powerline checked
-- If that doesnt work there is no specific configuration
get the adapter replaced ..

Ditto. On my WGX102, the power light and the wifi signal light are OUT. Resetting does not bring them on again.
