There is 2 screws if you look at the bottom, where the cable is wind. you can see
them through the winding wheel. I had a completly dead machine, by removing these screws i could replace the cable and my machine works again :-)

Dualit mixer 'soft touch' finish ~ uncleanable?

Same thing with my black Dualit stick blender. I've just used surgical spirit, elbow-grease (and occasionally scratching with my nail), a soft cloth and lots of patience and attention to detail (particularly around the buttons) to get back to shiny black plastic. Don't know if it will deteriorate further but at least it's pleasant to use for the time being.

I cannot get the cord on my Dualit mixer to come out very far.

The cord has twisted inside the housing and is now binding or it has slipped out ofthe housing and is wedged between the cord housing and the case. If it is still within warranty, send it in, if not, you'll need to carefully open the housing to get the cord into the cord housing.

Kitchenaid KHM7T

Hi. Before you take your mixer apart, take a multimeter and test for continuity in the cord. Wiggle the ends of the cord while you're doing this in an attempt to make the cord fail. If it tests out OK, then you must get inside the mixer. If you have the ability to repair the mixer then do so, otherwise take it to a repair place for them to check it out.

Goto www.kitchenaid.com, enter your model # and search for the parts catalog for your mixer. Download the info. This will help you with the project

If this solution has assisted you, please rate it. Good luck! ricardok45
