Welcome to FixYa
To access to these screws you have to remove the door from the oven and then remove the inner door panel.Open the door to the full open position, and look on the inner door liner. Some models have a screw just above the hinge on the inner door liner, holding the hinge to the inner door liner. If there is a screw just above each hinge, remove them. Move the door to the broil position, and holding the outside edges of the door, lift the door off the hinges. You might have to **** to break it loose. Don't lift the door with the handle. Place the door on a pad on the counter top with the handle up. Remove the screws around the outside of the door, be sure to get them all including the ones you removed earlier. Slide the outer frame off the door toward the bottom of the door. Remove it from the door. Lift the outer glass, vent trim, and handle off the door. Now you can tighten the handle screws. Reverse this process to reinstall the door
OR Follow Direction given below...

  • Partially open oven door. Using phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws on the top of the door casing and place in small bowl. This will allow the front section of the oven door (the casing) to drop down away from the back side of the door.
  • Once open, place the lock washer on the originial screw from the oven door handle (or newly purchased one) and insert into back of oven door casing so that it exits to the front side of casing. Place the spacer on the exiting screw and front side of casing. Place the oven door handle back onto the spacer and screw and partially tighten. At this point, alternate between both oven door handle screws tightening each slightly until both screws are secure.
  • Raise the oven door casing back in position on opposite section (back side of oven door). Work in to place, making sure top 2 screw holes line up. Replace top screws, and alternately tighten each until secure. Your oven door handle is now repaired.
Do Carefully.Dont cause/lead to any Damage by Improper handling.... Hope you got an Idea now.....Thanks for Contacting FixYa...

How do I tighten a loose handle on a Neff u1661n2gb/05 double oven

There are no screws holding the glass on. You need to pull off the inner glass. It just clips on so just pop a round knife at the top and it should just pop off. Tightening the screws should be easy but you probably need a torx screwdriver from memory

You need to remove the inner glass panel, should be 2 screws at top and 2 at bottom and remove. The screws for the handle are behind this

Oven door handle is loose on Model RF366BXD self cleaning range, how do we tighten the door handle?

Extend your door hinges and remove entirely over to a table or other flat surface where you can do a step-by-step dis-assembly. Unfortunately, to get at the interior of the handle unit, it's the final stage of the taking apart. Begin by removing the bolts at the bottom of the door, then the main panel and side flanges can be removed. (You can give your glass a good cleaning at this point also.) There are 2 bolts to remove to free up the handle unit, and now you can easily tighten (or replace as needed) the 2 pairs of handle bolts. Reverse your order to re-assemble, and put your door back on the oven. It's not as bad an exercise as it would appear. Just take your time and watch what you're doing. I used the hinges as a shim, and had it laid out on a pool table for easy, elevated examination.

The door handle of my oven whirlpool gold model no GGP84803 is loose I try to get it off by prying it from the top with no luck seem to be jam or locked I am not sure how to proceed.

I had same problem, fixed by removing screws under door and removing side panels . Then remove front glass ( 4 screws under glass ) and remove other screws behind glass to remove handle and then tighten 4 screws on handle. Works great.

Loose Oven door handle

Hi,
You may have to get some loctite brand paste in a tube for applying to the threads of the bolts that hold it on.
This will prevent the screws from loosening.
Another way would be to get some spring washers or star washers at your local hardware store such as menards.
