Question about Toshiba 51H84 51" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
Your tv is a CRT Projector - one in which the image is generated by 3 tubes. The possibility that all 3 have the same failure in the same spot is 0 so the cause of your problems is in the mainboard. Since the image is distorted and black lines appear diagonally across the screen it means that the synchronisation circuit has failed. Unfortunately you must replace the entire motherboard for that and it will be expensive - the part will have to be ordered directly to the manufacturer or refurbished professionally.
