Hi. Sounds a bit like the motor has a short circuit in the armature. How old is the machine? How old are the batteries?
Remove one or both of the brushes, and try to smell the inside of the motor. A burnt out motor will have a strong smell of burnt varnish.
Is the machine still under warranty?
Another cause could be a seized or binding brake assembly. With the free-wheel lever released, can you easily push the machine along the ground?
Good luck. Neil.

Replace fuel pump 2008 nissan altima

iv never known a fuel pump to make lots of clicks when starting. sounds to me like the clicking could be the starter motor either faulty or not having enough power, or a power shortage causing relays to click. check your battery connections if all looks good either charge the battery or try jump leads linked to a good battery.

Situation--Having a discussion with son-in-law while sighting in my Winchester Model 94 30-30. I think it's sighted at 100 yards but shooting at 50 yard target. It is consistently high by about 5 to 6...

He is right the bullet at most will be 1/2 high at 50yards. Zero at 100 if sighted correctly. The bullet is flat to about 100 yards and will drop significantly for the next 300 yards. At 400yards your drop is almost 7-8 inches and at longer than that the bullet loses most if its effective stopping power for hunting and the drop is really significant. Not worth the effort......

Timer rotates but whenever it reaches the tripper to turn the lights on it gets stuck there. It's like there isn't enough power to rotat the switch to turn the lights on. Have checked the switch...

The clock motor gets weak and sticks on the tripper and then stops working.
Possible solution: Some people report they disassembled clock motor, cleaned the gears and added a bit of vaseline or white grease to gears because they get dirty.
Then afterward, you might try duct tape to seal unit from dust
Others report they got the clock motor apart and didn't mark parts and take photos along the way, and forgot how tiny gears went back.
My experience with clock motors, and motors in general, is when they slow down, they overheat and don't last much longer.
There are no replacement clock motors for ML series power packs, which is shortcoming since Intermatic makes replacement clock motors and modules for many of their products.

Work-around: Set timer to override, then plug power pack into cheap wall timer.

Coil pack keeps craking

The engine computer is supposed to drive sections of the coil pack in pulses. If a defect in the computer caused current to flow continuously, it would overheat and crack the coil case. Rent a scanner, read any code(s), and pursue to repairs. Replacement of the computer is likely. If so, remove the battery--the computer is bolted to the inner fender panel with several long sheet metal screws. Remove two large plugs from it's case and install the new one in reverse order. The dealer will need the number off of the old unit for proper replacement. You might be able to find one in a wrecking yard for half price. A reputable company will guarantee their parts for 90 days. You will likely need a fresh coil pack too. Hope this gets you running. We put nearly 300,000 miles on '96 Dodge Caravan, but had to replace the transmission @ 120,000.

Condenser Fan stops turning.

If you have a amp meter you could measure the amount of current the fan is drawing and compare that reading with the amperage value printed on the fan motor.
More information is needed:
Is the compressor running?
How old is the unit?
What brand and size?
Are you getting a 240v where the fan connect to the power terminals?

Pegasus 150 looses power then overheats

Check for a fuel filter inline between the gas tank and the carb. Replace that filter ! Also dump half a bottle of Techroline (Chevron) into the gas tank. You are starving the engine of fuel which will lose you power and can cause overheating...check your oil and change often..Techroline can also be found at your local auto parts store....good Luck to you...Tim
