Question about Sony KP-51HW40 51" Rear Projection Television
I don't know when it started happening exactly but it is getting worse as time go's on. It is a series of arc going from left to right. They are stationary and a blue/white color. The TV is nearly seven years old so I hate to put a ton of money into it with the new technology out there. I really hate to put it down to, its been a good TV for us. Anyone know what might be going on? The calibration doesn't seem to help.
Replace a color gun in your KP51HW40. Then adjust the picture brightness to eliminate these rings by turning a little button behind the front (cloth like) panel (the one covering the front bottom half of the set). You may have to to dim the lights to be able to do that properly. The little dial button as is in the middle.
