Here is the link for the manual - c ould be a remote set up issue or this could be puffed caps in the power supply - have a qualified tech check that out

Pdp-42A3HD overheat

Hi, you may want to try this. I too have a plasma screen and what I have found is that the electronics plus the cooling fan or fans suck in a lot, I mean alot of dust. My solution that I do every 6 mths is to take the tv out side and I blow it through with a compressed air every orofice you can. I know everyone doesn\'t have a compressor but you may know someone who has. I think the components may be overheating due to a build up of dust. I do the same for my desk top PC and my laptop also. You will be surprised how much dust comes out make sure you are up wind or wear a mask.

Hope that helps

Problem with Pioneer PDP-5080HD 50 in. plasma television The power turns off every 15-20 minutes

hi,
There is some over heating problem in you television. there will be two fans inside you television. if any of the fan get faulty then that section of you TV will get over heated and will shut off by itself preventing from further damages. Check the two fans. For that you have to open your TV.

Picture has suddenly become dark and greenish Tried to fix with brightness, color controls...can change to dark and reddish...but thats it. is either PDP 4214HD or PDP 42A3HD

Is tv plasma or lcd (how old). it may be the screen or pannel has lost its efficiency. A bit like old tv's tube going. You did the correct thing by adjusting controls but this sounds like a workshop job

Pioneer PDP-4330HD - turns iteself off - resets

I bought a 503 which had this problem, it would stay on for anything between 10 mins & 3 hours.
the guy told me he had been told it was a condensation sensor.
All I did was take back off, blow it out all boards with an air line, disconect fans. I ve had it 6 months now with not a single problem.
