-   I have the same problem but when I remove the filter there is nothing in the filter. How do I get to the pump turbine through the filter?-   smithneeley

You got to remove the filter in order to check if something has fallen from basket in pump turbine. So, first remove the filter and check for foreign objects inside. I'm almost certain that you'll find something that's colliding with pump turbine and makes the noise.
