Nokia 6500s-1 keeps switching off as soon as i switch it on. it comes on then shows the time and date page then goes off. i have removed the memory card, battery etc. can any1 help please greg [email protected]

Hello.If your memory card is ok. The only thing you need to do is to check the back cover.On the back cover left hand side near the memory card location there is a switch (pin) which plays the mmc leap switch to press or giving connection to the phone.So, first remove the back cover and open the Gallery in your phone and press the Pin (switch) which is located in the left hand side of the memory card slot.If it works just put a piece of paper/ something to press the switch permanently.Otherwise contact mobile repairing shop.Good luck

its a software problem just get it software update from nokia care

THE PROBLES IS THE BACK COVER OF THE CELL PHONE IT LOSES. SO THE MEMORY DISCONNECT THATS WHY IT GOES BACK TO PHONE MEMORY. THE DESIGN OF NOKIA 6500S-1 NEED THE BACK COVER TO RUN AND DETECT THE SD MEMORY.

remove the memory card and try it work's properly. after u just insert the memory card i likely to be working.. better u need to format the memory card..
