Scrolling is very jerky. This is after a Windows XP re-install.

Try changing the refresh rate , or install the drivers that came along with your monitor it will solve the problem.

You may have upgraded windows xp but I think you forgot to upgrade your video driver after this update.


If you can give me the full model of the laptop I can then find the driver for you. Let me know right a way :)

ATI Radeon 9250 PCI scrolling perfomance problems.


It sounds like the wrong drivers or old drivers are installed, try the following drivers:
http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati_winxp.php

Those should help.

Game play is jerky installed new geforce 6200 on dell dimension 3100 with xp. played fine with old geforce 5200 fx.


Make sure that you removed the old graphic drivers and installed fresh ones from Nvidia. You can get to the drivers page from this Link.

Screen transition while scrolling


Seems like a problem with the video card driver. Can you check if Windows is using "Standard VGA Driver" video? (Right click the My Computer Icon, select Properties - Hardware - Device Manager - 2x Click Display Adapter.) If you can identify the video card/chip of your computer (Example Nvidia or ATI), you may need to get the appropriate drivers to optimize your display.

Scrolling Problem Following Windows SP3 Installation


This is obviously a driver fault, unless by coincidence the mouse is failing.

For a start, try uninstalling the driver, and then re-installing it back.
