Internet explorer sometimes cannot enter facebook cause facebook is made for firefox even there video link it says "only for firefox" i think it was that

so i recommended uuse firefox or google chrome instead of internet explorer

I cant access facebook


Open dos command by typing CMD and type ping Facebook.com , see if you get a response , then clear temp internet pages & cookies by right clicking on your main Internet explorer icon not the shortcut icon , selecting properties , look for the tab that display cache stored pages and clear the temp stored pages and delete old cookies

I'm only getting the top half of my facebook page. The bottom half is all white.


Did you guys try clearing your cache and cookies? To do so, go to the Wrench -> Options -> Under The Hood. Under the Privacy section, click on the Clear browsing data button. Select to clear the cache and cookies options (note you will be logged out of any sites you're logged into). Towards the bottom, select to clear this data from the past week, then click Clear browsing data.
If you're still having layout issues after doing this, does it work if you try logging into Facebook using incognito mode? Click Control + Shift + N to open an incognito window.
If the two above suggestions don't solve it, please provide your Google Chrome version (go to Wrench menu -> About Google Chrome) and tell us what operating system you're on (e.g. WinXP, Win7, Mac OSX, etc)?

When i go onto facebook the page is just blank


Hi, Margaret. If this just recently started, try to clear the browsing history first. If you are using Internet Explorer, click the SAFETY menu located at the upper-right section of the window and click DELETE BROWSING HISTORY. Make sure that Cookies, Temporary Internet Files are checked/selected and click DELETE or OK to clear them. If ever SAFETY menu is not available, click the TOOLS menu instead, then click INTERNET OPTIONS and click the DELETE button under the BROWSING HISTORY section. From there, you can clear the cookies and temporary internet files and history files. Afterwards, close the Internet Explorer window, re-open it and access http://www.facebook.com again and see how it goes.

Facebook is blocked on my computer. when i type in the website it comes up .... Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage


Hi, In this case please try resetting the Internet explorer settings,please follow the instructions to reset the Internet explorer(IE):-Click on Start->Control Panel->Network and Internet->Internet Options->In this window Click on the Advanced tab to the top right corner and then click on reset tab to the bottom right corner.Once the IE has been reseted please close all the Windows and try accessing Facebook and that should fix the issue. Note:-When resetting IE all the temporary files,cookies and the websites saved as favorites would be deleted. Thank you for your patience and best wishes for your effort.

I cant open my facebook account


First, verify that the user name and password that you are using is correct. Ttry to log in to your Facebook account using different computer that's connected into different network. If the same problem occur, try to access your email that is associated with Facebook.

However, if you're not able to experience the same problem on different computer, then the problem could be your internet browser. Try to optimize your internet browser or try different browser.

Here's how to optimize the browser:

* For Internet Explorer:

1. Run Internet Explorer and click on 'Tools' menu.
2. Go to Internet Options and locate the Browsing History section.
3. Click the 'Delete' button and delete the Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and History.
4. Close the Internet Explorer and re-open it.
5. Access your e-mail.

* For Mozilla Firefox:

1. Run Firefox and hit 'Tools' menu.
2. Go to 'Clear Recent History' and click the drop-down arrow for 'Time range to clear'.
3. Select 'Everything' and then click the line beside details.
4. Check browsing & download history, form & search history, cookies, cache.
5. Click "Clear Now" button.
6. Close and re-open Firefox.
7. Access your e-mail.

* For Safari:

1. Open the Safari.
2. Click the Safari menu (right beside the Apple icon) and select "Empty Cache".
3. When asked "Are you sure you want to empty the cache?", click "Empty".
4. Click the Safari menu (right beside the Apple icon) then go to "Preferences".
5. From the security dialog box, click "Bookmarks".
6. Click on "Show Cookies" button and then hit "Remove All" button.
7. Select "Done".
8. Access your email.

The facebook web site cannot be accessed


Hi,
Try with different browsers . Also clear all previous stored cookies and sessions . You will now be able to access facebook .
In internet explorer you can do that by going to TOOLS --> Internet Options -->General Tab . In general tab there will be option to delete history do that and now access facebook .

Facebook is not down. I can access my facebook account.

Try to access your facebook account in another computer, if you can access it, the follow the steps below on the problem computer:

* For Internet Explorer:

I CANT LOGIN EVEN AFTER ENTERING THE RIGHT PASSWORD I AM NOT EVEN ABLE TO ACCESS MY GMAIL ACCOUNT


The problem that you are having is possibly caused by your Internet browser and not with your Facebook or Gmail account. You need to clear the cookies and internet files to resolve the problem. Here's how:

Clear Cookies and Internet Files

* For Internet Explorer version 6
1. Open IE6 > Tools > Internet Options.
2. Click the Delete Cookies button and Delete History.
3. Click on OK > Close and re-open your IE6.
4. Try accessing your e-mail account.

* For Internet Explorer version 7
1. Open IE7 > Tools > Internet Options.
2. Click the "Delete" button under the Browsing History option.
3. Delete the Cookies, Internet Files
4. Click on OK > Close and re-open IE7
5. Try accessing your e-mail account.

* For Mozilla FireFox
1. Open Firefox > Tools
2. Select "Clear Recent History"
3. Select Cookies, Cache, Browsing and Download History.
4. Close and re-open Firefox
5. Access your e-mail
