Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Base from the description of your problem, this is a clear sign of a overheating issue on your PS3, you can reset first your PS3 by doing this steps.
You can perform a reset by holding down the Power button for about 10 seconds. The power light should turn red, then you can let go of the button.
But if still same problem after that the PS3 should be taken to a service center for the overheating issue.
