Perhaps the mp3 files are saved with variable beatrate. Open them in winamp and check if number in front kbps changes while the song is playing. If so than try transferring an mp3 file with constant beatrate. If that solves the problem than you have to convert mp3 files with variable beatrate to constant beatrate. For that you'd need program like this one is www.nch.com.au/switch/

Hi R Shulman
Make sure your MP3 files are MP3 files and not WMA or someother type of files because they will not work on your player.

Assuming that your computer can actually see your tascam unit, Are you absolutely sure that you have converted your music files to MP3 as of course this is crucial. Are you also looking in the correct folder.

File system error how do icorrect this problem

Hello,

For the MP610 there's an update to fix the file system error.
Go to cobyusa.com in internet explorer and next enter MP610 in the Product Search bar.

All support for this player will show.
Download the firmware update zip file.
Unzip the file and look in the pdf file how to solve this problem.

No music file showying on MP-BT1

Just check they are not located inside a folder on your MP-BT1. If so, drag files out of their folders and then delete the folders and MP-BT1 will then recognise them!

Download from iTunes to MP-BT1

Hi, thanks for responding but I did not realize that this was not a free advise website.  I do like your concept and you do deserve compensation for your knowledge however, I will just call tech support at TASCAM.  Again, thank you.
