SOURCE: Converting From 12/24 to Starght 24 Volt

if it is 24v. then you need to connect 2 battery in parallel. since the battery is only 12v.
if one battery is shoing red and the other is sohwing green, that means you are using 12v only, not the 24v.
connetion as follow:
positve of battery 1 to the motor, the negative of battery 1 to postive of battery 2. the negative of battery 2 to the motor.

SOURCE: diagram of 36 volt hookup for trolling motor

To get 36 volts, number batteries 1 thru 3. connect pos 2 to neg 1, connect pos 3 to neg 2, connect pos 1 to trolling motor controller and neg 3 to ground on trolling motor.
This is only a solution for 3 battery system.
For 4 battery system, connect 4 to 3 pos to pos and neg to neg.

Hi, you should not have to, the motor spec is max current draw, maybe when stalled, the supply is a theoretical maximum so you will be fine, in case of faults a breaker or fuse rated at 35 amps would be good.

How to fix my razor scooter e100?


The E100 is a Kick Start scooter, the Rear Wheel has to be Spun for it to start. This scooter will not start from a motionless position.

Could be the battery.
Put the Scooter on a block so the rear tire is raised. Remove the standing plate to reveal the battery compartment.
Charge the Unit completely

1. Using a multimeter measure the voltage across the batteries. If the voltage is below 20 volts batteries are dead - Replace batteries.
2. Now for a running test. Turn the throttle and spin the rear tire to preform a kick start. Still measuring the voltage. If the voltage is Below 20 volts or if the voltage drops quickly batteries are dead - Replace batteries.
3. If the voltage is remaining around 24 volts for a long period - then you could have connector problems, clean and tighten all connectors.
I use a fiberglass electronic cleaning brush, as contact cleaners leave residue that interfere with electrical connections.

The control module is simple and can be replaced with only a 24 volt relay without the kick start feature or Brake. If you want the brake then you can use two 24 volt relays still no Kick Start.

For those of you who know electrical, below is circuits I developed to replace the controller. This diagram will also give you a better understanding on the Razor circuit.

NOTE : This is not a schematic diagram of the Razor E100 Control Module. I designed this circuit. for my Great Nephew's Scooter.

1. The Brake is a normally closed switch that opens when you squeeze the Brake handle.
2. The throttle is two normally open switches that close when you turn the throttle.
3. The Kick Start circuit is described in the Diagram below.
4. The resistors values may need to be tweaked for best performance.

the condensor gets 240 volts a-c and 24 volts a-c to control contactor. pretty straight forward on this 3 ton unit. the 240 volts comes off breaker box and the 24 volts comes off thermostat and common of transformer.

Motor will not spin. The battery indicates 24 volts and i wired the battery directly to the motor. Should this make it spin or can I be sure the motor is bad? I just want a fail safe way to know it is...


if your batteries are outputting 24 volts or more the motor should spin when connected directly to the battery, if the battery is putting out 23.9 volts the motor will not spin

Wireing a 24 volt go cart


Obviously will need more details on what you have there already Tom, but with DC current, in order to reverse direction, you simply reverse polarity. Take a power window on a car as an example: Although 12 volt, same basic idea and principles apply. When you hit the switch in one direction, + power is sent to window motor through one wire, and negative through the other wire. When you hit switch in opposite direction, the wire that was showing + 12 volts, now becomes ground, and the wire that was ground (-) will show 12 v + current flowing. The reversing of polarity (current) is done withing the switch and how it's wired. So basically, if you take the 2 wires going to motor, and reverse them, the motor should turn in opposite direction.

Ihavea urbanx razor 24 volt electric dual battery dirt quad i need to o what wires go where to connect from controle module to basically i need the wiing dagram or at lest which colors go together


All the connections from the controller only go into the specfic molex plus they came from. They also have the same colored wires as there associated plugs.
