Try typing #include <iostream> or #include <iostream.h> instead #include "iostream.h".

Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 is an integrated development environment, or IDE, released by Microsoft in 1998. An IDE allows the user to create a computer application by using pre-designed functions, tools and other resources. Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 features a source code editor, a compiler, a debugger and graphical user interface.

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 on your computer. The installation process is fairly simple. Just follow the prompts. Run the program. A window will appear asking you to create a new application. On the "Project" tab, choose "Win32 Console Application." This means that you will create an application with an EXE file extension that can work with 32-bit Windows operating systems after compiling the project. Also, specify the project's name and the location where it will be saved. Click "OK." Click"OK" in the dialog box that will appear next. You will choose to start an open project. Double-click on the form in the center of the screen. Type: #include <iostream.h> int main() { cout <<"This is my first project!!! Hello everybody! \n" return 0; } Press "F5." This will build and run the project. Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 will compile your project into an EXE file. Then it will open this file. You will see a new window open in which you'll see your greeting, " This is my first project!!! Hello everybody!" Press any key to exit the application. http://elvis.rowan.edu/~kay/cpp/vc6_tutorial/ http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualc/ee340952.aspx

Sir i have been working to c++ but before sum days i have run endless loop program by mistake something got deleted from iostream.h file after that it is showing linker error pass2

iostream.h file input output header file for c++ by which we can use input/output data.
So you must reinstall the c++ to your system and after that linker error would not go on.

I don't have full screen nd give some errors.

i assume u have to be trying this on Turbo C/C++.for this u'll have to search for iostream.h.run TC.goto options-->directories-->then in the paths of include and library files put in the path where iostream is located..if this problem persists,download and install TC from http://www.brothersoft.com/turbo-c-download-182798.html
it would work...

Error occur during compiling,unable to open a header file

The compiler is attempting to access the iostream header file and it either cannot find the file (not in the default location or it has been told to look in another location where it doesn't exist), or the file security is set so the current user does not have read access to the file.

Compilation error in Turbo c++ 3.0

#include <stdio.h>

The above line should be at or near the beginning of your program source file. If that doesn't work, you can try:

#include "stdio.h"

Of course make sure all the standard libraries and include
files have been installed. Otherwise you have a broken installation and virtually nothing will work.
