One of my olive Bluetooth indoor outdoor speakers has a static short sound. We took back the first ones due to the same problem, now these have the same problem :/ can you help?

What are you plugging it into for power? This may be the problem OR it might be picking up interference from something else that is electrical that is causing a spark.

Need to change a broken blower motor in RUUD central air unit. Old central air blower motor (GE electric) was connected with brown and orange wire to 15 MHD capacitor. Another orange wire from central air...

on the motor should be a diagram detailing the wires. brown white goes to either side of the capacitor and brown wire to other side of capacitor. hi speed goes to normally open contact on the indoor fan relay and the wire designated common on the motor goes to the other side of power from the relay contacts.

The 25 pint Frigidaire dehumidifer has stopped running and continues to show the "full flashing red light" even when it isn't, and will not stay on. Any solutions? Thanks Kirk J.

Kirk, the problem you're experiencing is generally caused by 2 reasons. The bucket was not reinstalled properly or the float valve in the top of the tank is either broken or stuck in the UP position.

First turn the unit OFF & unplug it. Then remove the bucket and check the float valve in the top of the bucket. Jiggle the float valve's arm to make sure it moves freely and that it is in the DOWN position. If it's not broken, reinstall the bucket making sure that it fits "squarely" from top to bottom and is making contact with the bucket safety removal switch on the rear wall of the bucket holder. When installed properly, the bottom of the bucket should not tilt down at all.

If the float valve is broken, you can purchase new one from Frigidaire.

I hope this helps you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Hi: I have an bathroom heater fan, Thermosafe model:3208,(new Zealand) one day i found out that i could not turn it on, it even not make the "clip" sound (this heater wasn't designed...

From your description, it sounds like the pull chain ON/OFF switch is broken.Admittedly, this is the first time I have ever heard of a pull chain switch being on an electric heater, But, I guess it is in the ceiling and not wired to a wall switch, it's the only way to turn it ON or OFF. I wouldn't think that replacing the pull chain switch would be that difficult or expensive to replace. Most home centers and hardware stores sell this type of switch for use in ceiling fans, The key would be removing the faulty switch and taking it with you to buy a new one. You want to be sure that the new switch matches the amperage and polarity of the old switch.

As far as the unit only being a year old and the switch failing so quickly ... it's in a warm moist environment 24 hours a day. It doesn't surprise me that the switch broke. You might want to consider replacing the pull chain switch with a hard wired wall switch. Certainly, it would cost more than replacing the pull chain switch, but you'd never have that problem again.

I hope this helped you, Mary. Please let me know.

Turn thermostat on in the morning, heating only seems to come on in the afternoon. What could be causing this delay? Also dont really understand the install settings very well. Can u explain each...

A faulty thermostat or thermostat wiring connection is most likely the culprit. Checking the power wiring of the thermostat to the furnace and the transformer with an amp meter, should help you locate the problem. You may find that there's only power (usually 24 volts) in certain segments of the wiring and the other. This will help you narrow down where the problem is and repair or replace it.

Without knowing who the manufacturer of your heater is and the correct model number, it's impossible to explain the install settings.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

Where can I buy a new remote in the UK it is for a daitsu air con unit. The remote model is R11HG/E-XLM

Hello, I see this a lot, either a faulty remote, or may get broken or lost.I don't like to have to send my clients on the Internet to look, sometimes that is all that can be done. In this case, I have narrowed down this search for you. This place does offer new remotes for this system, as well as universal models that will do the job as well. It is a rather long email address, so here goes. Name first.
Telecomando- universale-climatizzator-condizionatori, I hope this has been helpful to you, as this will be the place to get a replacement.Sincerely,

I have a goodman Air conditioning unit CKL49-1. The fan motor connects to the top lid. Recently the metal cracked and broke and the fan fell down inside. I purchassed a new lid mounted the fan back on to...

Sounds like it is overloading and tripping the circuit breaker (that thing that pops up). More than likely when the fan fell down it stopped the blade from turning which caused the motor to overheat, melting the windings insulation which caused them to short out which causes the circuit breaker to trip.

Sorry, you are going to have to get a new motor to go with the new lid.........

Will not agitate or spin . Repariman diagnosed it as motor problem (only 14 months old!), but upon replacing the motor unit, still does not agitate or spin. I think the lid switch is ok - when I lift the...

There are a couple of reasons for the washing machine not to spin. Since the reason is not specific we need to to perform a couple of steps to determine the reason of the no spin.
Depending on the models the earlier models had brake shoes in the bottom of the machine. If you tip the machine over you can see them. If they are worn, they don't engage so may need replacing these were about 20 year old machines one of the problems with the newer models is that they have a cut out switch when you lift the lid if this is broken the machine wont engage in the spin cycle so it isn't an expensive part to replace that could be worth checking. A volt meter would quickly tell you if it was working or not it is just a basic switch the other problem that happens is that the pump is blocked i.e. some hair and may need cleaning. They stop if they are blocked. I think they have a sensor, but once unblocked they are fine. So that is a couple of ideas to start with.

New Tefal One Cup, and it has stopped heating the water, FAQ says it needs descaling, but it is only two weeks old ???

Sounds like Mfr defect. Do not recomend trying to repair since it is new and could void any warranty. Recomend returning to where you bought to get a new one.
