More than likely, the graphics card is damaged. What i would do, is go to your local computer store, Radioshack, best buy etc.

Go to the Control Panel, using the menu (keys control+ESC).

Using the arrow keys.

Using the tab keys go to mouse icon and then pointers and make the changes to reveal the cursors.

Inactive touch pad ; unable to control cursor/arrow therefore unable to navigate settings page. How do we restore operation of touchpad?

you may have it disabled in the startup tab under msconfig. Just type msconfig in run under your startup menu, goto startup and look for pointer device or anything like that make sure there is a check there. Other than that try looking for any "bangs" in device manager. if there is any the driver isn't loaded right. ( a bang is a ! or ? and is usually yellow)

My g3 laptop has a blinking mac face and internet globe and question mark what do i do

Hi, Somehow it has been set to boot from a net server of some type.
Tyrn the Mac off then turn it back on while holding the ALT key down.
After a moment or two you shold see a new start-up screen wich will show the globe that you see, but it will also show the internal HD as well.
Wait until you get the pointer back, click on the HD and press return on the keyboard or the forward arrow on the screen.
The computer should then start up from the internal HD.
Once it is up and running , go to System Preferences (under the Apple menu) and select "Startup Disk".
Click on the hard-drive icon and then close the window. That should set it correctly.
Do another (normal) restart and make sure it works.Post back and let us know.

Can't see my tool bar

Not much information to go on but there are a couple things you can try...

First try changing your monitor resolution to its optimal resolution (having the wrong one set can stretch the screen so the toolbar doesnt show up)...if you are unsure how to do that or what your optimal resolution is post your monitor and its size and I can tell you.

Second, try moving the mouse cursor (the little arrow) to the very bottom edge of the screen and very slowly move it around...if at ANY point it changes into a thinner pointer with an arrow at both ends click and hold the left mouse button and drag up and release when the toolbar is visible.

Let me know how that works out.

When I startup my Sony Vaio Netbook, it boots slowly, but never gets to the startup screen. The screen is black with the cursor being the only thing showing (meaning that the screen my be fine). When I...

reboot the system, wait for the VAIO logo to appear, and then start pressing F8(keys depends on the model ) . The Advanced Boot Options screen will appear shortly. Use the arrow keys to highlight the “Repair Your Computer” option and press Enter.

Touchpad not working

Using your keyboard, press the windows hot key, then use the arrow keys to go up and to the right to control panel, then arrow over to the system icon, then arrow through the tabs to the hardware tab, then press TAB to select the "device manager" button and click enter....in the device manager, press tab again in order to highlight the first selection and arrow down to "mouse and other pointing devices" then press the right arrow key to expand that selection and see if it is recognizing your mouse pad, if it does, highlight it and press enter, arrow over to the "driver" tab and try updating the driver, if that doesn't work, try a troubleshoot from the first properties tab.....and if none of this works......the touchpad is most likely dead. Try contacting the manufacturer and see if they can replace the touch pad.....
