My mic works, but it wont continue picking up the air that i'm blowing into it... why is it doing that?
actually, i fixed it myself... in the game "the legend of zelda: spirit tracks", you have to play a spirit flute, and if you recall in previous zelda games, you have had to play/use different musical items. well, in this game, you must use the spirit flute for almost every dungeon, except for maybe one. i had trouble playing the tunes the lokomos (spirit people who travel on wheels and unlock different tracks for different regions of the world map) gave me. the problem is that the game is too focused on graphics and movements of characters, so it doesnt pick up that you are still blowing. if you have had that problem, and are still stuck on one of the lokomo's songs, try playing right after the up-beat of the song... this is kind of what the timing would look like: (pitch of the metronome is reflected by hight of line.) 3/4: - _ _ - _ _ - _ _ 4/4: - _ _ _ - _ _ _ -_ _ _
i'm not sure if there is 6/4, but anyway. if you have had trouble, instead of blowing into the mic on the very beginning of the beat, blow as soon as you hear the beat hit... so it would look something like this. the "b" is the place where you start blowing.: -_ _ _ - b _ _ _
since my ds is less than a year old, i didnt have trouble until i got to the last lokomo, but for the first generation to the ds made in 2008, you may have trouble early on. use this tactic, and you should be fine.
