Question about Husqvarna Backpack Blower 25cc, 140 Mph, Model# 125bt

1 Answer

Lacking blower velocity

It just doesn't seem to have the power it used to have. I drained the oil/gas mixture when we moved. Filled it gas/oil mixture to use once during a 12 month period. drained the fuel/oil. When we moved to our house and I used it, it was just lacking the velocity it once had. Help?

Look in your owners manuel for air and fuel adjustment screws on the carborator. if you dont have the manual look at the carborator and the ywo screws shood be right next to each other and probably the only screws you see. turn each screw clockwise counting the number of turns till they stop. be sure not to tighten real tight as this might cause damage. turn both screws ouy the same amount of turns. hopefully this might dislodge any junk that may have accumulated at these points. start it up and see if any improvement. if not try adjusting those same screws either left or right to try to increase power. good luck

Need gas and oil mixture for 25 cc ut 08083 blower

Two-cycle engines use a mixture of oil and fuel to power and lubricate the engine. Homelite blower engines use a ratio of 50 parts gasoline to 1 part two-cycle engine oil. Two-cycle engine oil is commonly sold in 2.6-ounce containers; add it to 1 gallon of gas to achieve the 50:1 ratio. Two-cycle engine oil for outboard motors is not compatible with Homelite blowers.Use premium fuel, the blower, weedeater, etc. will last much longer!

My Weed Eater FL1500LE gas leaf blower will not run beyond the full choke setting. If I move the lever to half choke the engine will stop. Or if I move the throttle from full throttle to a lower speed...

This is a tell tale sign of a lean fuel mixture. By choking the unit you are manually creating a richer fuel mixture. I would purchase a compression tester from a local parts store and check compression. If that's ok, I'm willing to bet the problem is still carb related. Two stroke carbs are tricky to clean because of high/low ports that are one way and sometimes impossible to clean. Did you remove high and low needles when cleaning carb? Another trick is to mix seafoam with your gas, then mix two cycle oil to proper ratio. Use 2 ounces seafoam to one gallon of gas, then mix two cycle oil to proper mix. Hope this helps! Good luck and happy wrenching!

Will start and run at half choke. stalls as soon as choke is moved to run.

Check age of gas. Cannot be more than 30 days old. Make sure to use fresh gas w/synthetic 2-cycle oil @ 40:1 ratio (1 gal.) Gas to 3.2 oz. Oil). Do not use old or stale oil/gas mixture. Always use the proper oil/gas mix. If you do not, your engine will suffer rapid, permanent damage. May need to clean or replace carburetor.

What fuel does my Echo pb500H use??? 2 stroke oil gas mixture????

2 stroke means that it is a gas mixture. 4 stroke means that there is no gas oil mixture.

Fuel is VERY flammable. Use extreme care when mixing, storing or handling, or serious personal injury may result.

A 50:1 ratio with 89 Octane fuel can be used in all ECHO 2-stroke equipment, provided the oil is ISO-L-EGD and JASO M345 FC/FD certified. ISO-L-EGD and JASO M345 FC/FD oil must be used with a mid-grade (89 octane) or premium gasoline in all 1997 and newer engines.

A 50:1 Ratio = 1 US Gal. 89 Octane + 2.6 fl. oz. ECHO POWER BLEND OIL

Echo Power Blend Universal 2-Stroke Oil can be used in all of our 2-cycle air-cooled equipment ever made. You may also use this oil in any other brand of 2-cycle air cooled equipment, but it should always be mixed at the 50:1 ratio whether or not it was a 32:1 or 16:1 etc. machine. This oil is the highest quality 2-cycle oil on the market today. There is no need to have more than 1 tank of fuel for your 2-cycle equipment any more.

Blower was used with motor oil gas mixture. Any

I would have to say a re-build is in order for that 2-cycle motor. I'll bet the internals are all gunked up from using regular motor oil. Pull the muffler and look in the exhaust port while pulling the starter cord (WITH THE SPARK PLUG REMOVED), usually that is a 2 man job...anyway, look in the exhaust port and look at the piston, it should be shiny and smooth plus you should be able to move the ring with a screwdriver. If you can't move the ring or the piston looks anything other than shiny and smooth, you are going to have to tear it down and rebuild it. This is not that hard, 2-cycle engines are the easiest engines to work on. Let me know what you see and I can help you more.

I just foun out that i forgot to add oil to gas mixture to my blo

hello, what you should do is drain out the gas from the tank into a clean container so you can add the oil to it and you should also check your spark plug make sure it's o.k. after draining out the gas try starting the blower a few times with out the spark plug wire connected to the spark plug this will flush out and of the pure gas from the fuel lines, after doing this re-connect the Spark plug wire and add your fuel/oil mixture and re-start, it might take a few times for it to start due to all the gas in the engine but it'll start also if your blower has a primer bulb you may want to prime it a few times after adding the fuel oil mixture to get it in the combustion chamber, if after doing this you still get nothing you'll want to re-place your spark plug it might be fouled out. good luck

Ryobi RBL30MVA petrol blower problem

if this is a brand new I would ask is the gas oil mixture fresh and of the proper ratio. most use 40-1
if this is not brand new look and see if the muffler could be clogged up. a common problem is the spark arrestor screen gets clogged up with carbon deposits.
