I did mentioned which terminals "th"

    trouble shooting..
TH terminals jumped/burners ignite-leaving jumper on burners stay light and heat pool.

    Remove jumpers
trying jumping pressure switch, burners do not ignite

    Remove jumper
try jumping from thermostat burners do not light.

Without heater in July (Michigan) the pool is @ 70 still...
Unfortunatley my wife will not go in, except for quick in and out.

    Thanks

You didn't say what terminals you jumped, but I assume it's the flow switch, or it could be the thermostat. The flow switch is located on the piping inside the heater. This flow switch is very important because if you didn't have water flowing through the heater it would oveheat. These do go bad or sometimes just get stuck depending on what type they are. If it's the thermostat, mounted on the front pane you're jumping, then either it or it's expansion bulb is faulty. GOOD LUCK Who needs a heater in JULY?

Ok, there should only be one TH temrinal and one THPP terminal. If you jumped these, you bypass every safety limint on the heater. I'd either test with a millivolt meter, or jump each safety one at a time. Again do not operate the heater with a safety bypassed. The thermostat should be Gy and BK wires, jumping these didn't work? y and gy is the system switch, the r and y is for a remote control r and v is limit switch, v and BL is limit switch, BL and R is pressure switch, R and BK is temperatrue limiter switch, bk and p is temperature limiter manual switch. If this doesn't help, then here is a link to hayward and the complete manual with wiring diagram and troubleshooting tips are here: http://www.haywardnet.com/inground/produ...

Hayward h-200 wont lite. it cycles thru the start up sequence. blower starts , gas valve opens (smell gas) ignitor glows cherry red... yet no flame. any ideas???

you may need to bleed the line to get fresh gas to the unit, you can use soapy water to check, that the fitting leak free, after bleeding at the block.

If the (th) terminals means the thermostat terminals then you have a bad thermostat and it needs to be replaced.

SF error

IDXLTER1930

I think you must be mistaken about your heater being a millivolt heater. They have not mfg these heaters for some time. And they probably would not give you an SF error. If you have an SF error, it is a newer model with a digital board. Millivolts usually have two analog temperature dials on them and no digital readouts. That should be the part. HTH
