Question about Kenmore 99123 Electric Kitchen Range
Was using stove top when power went off and came right back on . the stove top works fine but the oven keep popping up a code f-30 i cant find this code in any of the owner manuals. stove is less the 1 1/2 years old mod#790.99123400 ser#vf43323764
Thanks for using FixYa. To start with check for the red button, this is usually located in the rear of the oven. You’ll have to unplug it completely then unscrew the rear screws and there is a red button with two purple wires located on a small black round piece, and the other one is located behind the control panel. Push them to reset the oven, if it works then its great. If it won’t work then you’ll have to check the oven temperature sensor as F30 error is a communication error between the oven temp. sensor and the control board. Please click on this link to test and replace the oven temp. sensor. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
