Whenever I attempt to upload pics from my finepix z70, all I see is a gray screen that says USB. If I transfer the card to another camera, I can upload all the pictures, but not the videos and use the finepix probram on my pc. However, I now cannot open my finepix program despite uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting. Thoughts?

Before you can copy you must have a SD (of SCHC) card in the camera. It should have a correct format. The most secure way to get a correct format in the SD card is to format the card in the camera.

Hi, removed your mem card and should see a buton and slide it at the opposite
to unlock position.
if it a sdram card....

Try opening the Kodak software first, then turn the camera on. I've found that you need the Kodak program to transfer the pictures from the camera. I personally do not like this, my old camera (also Kodak) would act like a plane old flash card/removeable device, this new one doesn't.
Anyhow, I find it super easy to just take the SD card out and pop it into the media slot in my printer. Then just open explorer and it's there just like any other hard drive or CD/DVD drive and transfer them to where ever you like.
If your printer or computer doesn't have a slot for SD cards you can get one that plugs into a USB port, pretty cheaply at any store that sells computer products.

Well..thanks for help. I got absolutely no help from Fuji customer support. I ended up taking the camera back and getting a different kind. Got a Sony Cyber-Shot and I love it!

If you open the programme you use to transfer the folders, it should tell you where it is loading them to by default. Fuji normally name the folder 'as the date'; that they were transfered. As for the memory card it is probably best trying to re-format the card, if no change a replacement may be neccassary.
