Can you give a specific model of the phone and who your phone carrier is (eg: Verizon, Sprint, etc)?

From my personal use, usually the time was set by the cell tower and switched whenever the phone switched towers. When I used to live relatively close to another time zone my phone would be off by one hour when I was too close to a cell tower that was in that time zone.
