How to install genuine XP on AH530

>> LifeBook LH530(FPCM45161) 14.1 Windows 7 Professional 64-bit NoteBook :$799.99 Fujitsu

Why would you even _think_ about "downgrading" from Windows 7 to Windows XP?

Your computer was "designed for Windows 7", and for 64-bit operation.
To "cripple" it by running a 32-bit version of Windows XP would be a terrible thing to do.

Plus, many components (video, audio, wireless) in the computer *NEED* the device-drivers included in Windows 7.

Finally, Microsoft soon will "sunset" Windows XP, i.e., stop issuing security-update for it;
at that time, you will need to install Windows 7, to protect your computer from "new" threats.

How to format my compaq pressario cq40 604tx laptop with xp

hi

Boot from your XP install CD and select the option to format the C:
drive. If you don't have an install CD, use the "System Restore" CD or
DVD that came with your system. These restore your system to factory
settings. There're still other ways to format your C: drive, but
without either an install CD or restore one, you'll end up with an
unusable system after formatting the C: drive.
If you use the XP install CD, you'll need to be SURE you have all the
drivers for things like your DVD/CD drive, NIC, video, audio, modem, etc.

I need a sound device for my newly formated pc; Its Microsoft windows XP Professional & im from Philippines...

If you are planning to get a sound device hardware like a PCI card you can choose CMI8738 audio PCI Audio Device may suffice your needs.

If built in on your motherboard use your motherboard installer or manually go to sound device folder to install the driver.

If you don't have the motherboard installer, try its manufacturer's site then choose the exact model number and version, to get the right driver.

NO SOUND

I had the same problem with a full reinstall of XP. Follow the link below to download the UAA protocol, install it and XP should then install the drivers for your sound card. If it does not install, go to Windows update, it will provide a driver under the hardware category.

Actually the problem is incorrect installation of Drivers.........so firstly uninstall the drivers from ur CONTROL PANEL and re-install it once again...........if the problem is same, then re-install the XP operating system sp2 with different CD serial and then drivers.....
CAUTION: see thst there is no virus exists in ur HARD DISK.......
