Nokia Restriction Codes are used to remove restrictions added to a Nokia phone by your original carrier so it will only work with their network. It is also known as an unlock code or an unlock password. Well if you are tied to a particular network all you have to do is to unlock your phone to use it any other GSM network. You can get the unlock code through online. Give your IMEI number & get the unlock code for ur mobile .............You also get through online..........I will suggest the website Unlock-Zone.com which is doing good service .....you can approach this website.
If you mean formatting your memory ard then obesly you know it but if you meant to say formatting and reinstalling or upgrading your firmware then visit www.nokia-asia.com/software , selec your nokia phone model number, download firmware applicaion and software updater and upgrade using your PC.
You'll need your security code. If you didn't make one try "0000" or "the last 4 of your phone number".
1. Press menu in the "stand by mode"
2. Select "settings" and "security settings"
3. Select "Memory" if will ask for your code.
4 you now have the option of either using the "phone memory" or the "SIM memory" or "both". Try both. See what happens then try phone only. Its up to you.
