Printer not working Error offline

Go to prnter and faxes under control panel, look or your printer icon then right click on it, on the dropdown menu select use pritner online and left click on it, make sure printer is connected and turn on, right click back and cancel all documents. then try printng when status says ready and 0 documents pending.

I recently resolved the same problem by going into the Printer and Faxes under Control Panel. Look for the printer icon that shows in offline status. Right click 'Properties' and go to the Ports tab folder. Select the Port IP address in question and click on 'Configure Port' button. Click on the check box next to SNMP [SNMP status enabled] to remove the check mark and to disable the option. Click OK on the Configure Port window. Click Close on the properties window. 1) Select the Properties of the Printer. (In Vista Right Click Printer > Run As Administrator > Properties)

2) Select the PORTS tab

3) Select the Printer Port (BRN00807710654E or something similar) and select CONFIGURE

4) Change the Printer Name or IP Address to the actual printer IP#

Please Note: This will work better if you set your printer to use a static IP#. Simply select a ip# above the DHCP range of your router. This will stop the printer from ever receiving a different ip# at start up.

I have two printer HP and Epson, the Epson says offline. I have three computers on the same network. Don't know how to change from offline to online. I'm on Vista, both of the other computers are on XP.
