Connection with laptop

Are you sure this is under the right category as this model does not have a built in tv card (Acer Aspire5500) but this could be for a different region, not in UK....Could this be for a full size TV in which case you need to clarify, PC notebook or TV's.

check whether the connections are proper that is any loose connection

Possibly a router issue. It shows the connection but it must be completed through the manufacture website.

Reduce the screen resolution to 600x480 for instance and see if the projector can handle the low res output OK. Then increase screen resolution on the PC unitl the error message appears. Try the video menu settings in the acer

Try resetting the network adapter.

On the bottom right hand side of the desktop you will see the wireless icon, right click on that ans click on troubleshoot problems. This will reset the adapter and assign an IP address for your your PC.

When its done try to connect to the internet.

you need to go to te control pannel and go to display settings then manually select the external monitor then hit apply it will open on your projector

The inputs on a TV are normally via the ariel and go into a pre-amp

To get a signal in you, would again, normally connect to the RGB or Video in which bypasses the pre-amp.

The VGA cable will be outputting a digital signal which a monitor will understand but a TV will not as it prime supply is via an analog signal

You may be able to get a connection if you process the signal through a freeview box which changes the signal from analog to digital

Keep the computer on when you plug it it
so have the computer ready
