You probably charged it correctly - you need the latest firmware upgrade to prevent the problem where it doesn't stay on after disconnecting it from computer - note: this player goes to sleep often if you don't use it after 10 seconds - to save power.

Can you keep player plugged into usb charger while playing music files indefinatly or will it over charge and possibly cause damage? im shopping around and am not even shure it will play while pluged in to...

You can keep the Sansa plugged in without fear of overcharging. The Sansa will play while it is connected to a USB port that is supplying only power, such as a USB charger operating off a car cigarette lighter. It will not play while connected to a computer.

My Goodmans digital audio player is not working. And i could not able to play and listen songs. it is not opening. And how to charge this player? pl. help me

Your MP3 player can only play mp3 file format music files. The files are copied to the player from the computer using the supplied USB cable. The MP3 player is charged up using the same USB cable when it is connected to the computer.

Can i play SanDisk Sansa Fuze 2GB MP3 Player while charging

It depends. What's charging it?

If it's connected to a computer's USB port, then no, you can't listen to it.

If it's connected to a USB charger, such as you might find for cell phones, then yes, you can listen to it.

I KNOW I can charge my MP3 player and listen to it at the same time, but I don't know how.

Disabled it under device manager! So that it still draws power from the USB port without attempting to pair with the computer.

I am having the exact same problem. I put songs on the MP3 player and it hasn't worked since. I'm not getting any help or support. If you find out what the problem is, please contact me. This is is so disappointing to buy a Xmas present that doesn't work!
