the light is simple take the back of and rplace the globe as for the fan i have looked a t the scematic and i cant see that it runs in line with the globe but it might meaning ounce the globe is fixed the poer will pass through it to the fan if the globe is replaced and the fan does not come on then you have a fault in line to it and it will need further investigation
best of luck happy christmas please remember to rank my advice
if the globe unscrews then you can find a replacement from any good hardware store. if the globe is fixed to the bayonet then its a sealed unit and you will need to contact your nearest ge repairer and order on through them by giving them the make and model number of the unit
unlike the older models were there was a small compartment were you could take of a small covering and unscrew / replace the globe they are now a sealed unit if you take the entire top of youl see the globe and black globe holder dont try to unscrew it they dont unscrew if you can order a new globe holder included then simply install as per removal but be carefull microwaves hold a lot of power even when disconnected from power dont touch the capacitor or it will shock you
I think you're referring to the bulb which is not working. You have to remove the cover from the microwave to gain access to the bulb. Replacements can usually be found at appliance repair shops or stores and electrical or lighting supply stores.
Hello, I also have a Panasonic Microwave ( model NN-S 564 or 574 ?) They are very similar.
I have just removed the outer cover 5 screws ( unplug of course ) and have located the bulb holder which is a white plastic component with two clips holding the globe, pull it out and remove the two spade clips connected to the globe. The globe will come away attached to a black plastic mount. Next........do the run around to find someone who sells it.
Perth has an authorized distributer/repairer in Myaree whose details I got from Panasonic. He may sell them. otherwise I will try a couple of specialist light globe suppliers I know....PROLAMPS in Belmont and one in BALCATTA whose name escapes me but I have been there before...Hope this helps others.
