Our Superba side by side fridge is not level, so the door to the fridge sticks out a little and does not close all the way unless you push it closed. How do you level it?

Try various pieces and thicknesses of plywood under the corners of the fridge to aid in leveling. I have this same issue as I have an old house and am awaiting the arrival of a new fridge. The major issue is the corner isn't square nor is the floor level. Its a doozy of wood mosaic let me tell you @@

Is there an adjustment to tighten the refrigerator doors to stay open? Samsung refrig it is balanced.

You can adjust the front and back levelers that touch the floor so that the fridge tips forward just a bit. If you don't have a level, but do have a smartphone, there's a level built in, or you can download an app. Get some help adjusting the levelers -- fridges are heavy beasts.

How do I raise the level of my refrigerator door to be even with freezer door?

Thank you for your inquiry, Leland Dodd!

I see that you are having difficulty in raising the level on your Frigidaire refrigerator, FGHC2331PF. I have reviewed your manual and there are two types of adjustment for either front rollers or lower hinge. If you are having issues with adjusting the doors or leveling your refrigerator I would recommend having a professional technician out to properly level your refrigerator. Best of luck! -Matt

How to level Kenmore side by side model 596.50004100?

Using a bullet level, placed on top, side to side, adjust the leveling legs front and rear so that the unit places the bubble in the exact middle. Then, placing the level front to back, adjust the front only leveling legs to where the bubble in the level is only half showing in the middle. This will allow the doors to close by themselves.

Door is not level, how do I fix?

There should be some adjustment in the door hinges. Check the hinges to make sure the pin that enters the door is not broken. If it is, dril out the pin and replace it with a small bolt, put two nuts on the bolt and use the top nut to adjust the hight of the door.

Setting the appliance level

Before leveling, unplug the appliance to avoid an electrical shock hazard. Never tip a refrigerator or freezer, it is very heavy and can fall causing damage or injury.
It is important for the refrigerator to be level. If it is not level, doors may not open or close properly and may not seal tightly. Also, drainage from the defrost cycle might be impaired as might the ice making cycle. The appliance was engineered based on it being installed in a level position. While there may be some tolerance for out-of-level installation, the appliance will operate at its best when properly leveled.

Place a level on top of the refrigerator near the front. Do not put it on the door because the door may not be aligned with the refrigerator case. Check that the refrigerator is level from side to side. Next turn the level to check that it is level from front to back.
If it is not level, adjust one or more of the adjustable leveling feet until it is level. The feet are bolts that can be turned to raise or lower the refrigerator. If they cannot be adjusted with your fingers, use a crescent wrench or pliers.
If you have an ice-maker, it should also be checked for level after first leveling the refrigerator. An icemaker that is out of level will spill water into the ice bin or into the freezer. It can be repositioned by loosening the mounting screws, adjusting it for level and then retightening the screws. Neeed more assiatance, Visit my sites, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Doors need adjustment

You should be able to take the top trim caps off the door hinges, loosen the hinge screws a little, and move the door(s) away from the center of the refrig, then re-tighten the hinge screws to get the doors to stop hitting each other. You may want to check the bottom hinge(s) for the hight. The bottom hinges and the bottom of the doors have matching plastic "ramped" washers, which raise the door as it is opened, which help them to self close. If one of those is broken, the hight will be off.
