Andy check speaker connections and wire for damage, hook up a temp speaker to see if it fixes the problem, if it does replace speaker, if it does not, then there is a problem with radios amp. to show your appreciation press the helpful button and follow me on fixya for more tips and info.
Sorry I did not use the video out RCA cables. My audio RCA cables worked fine... I ran them to my JBL amplifier through a conversion adapter. I did not run it direct to the amp.. I used Metra TYTO-01 03-08 Toyota Vehicles Harness for JBL SYS (Ebay item 160560648718) and it worked great.
Here is the wiring color coding that I found online:
Code on stereo for steering wheel is 0000

Recheck your settings. Go the lower right and see if the speaker settings are correct. Vol. and speaker connections! You may have turned off the speaker off by error. If the settings are OK, try a headset with right/left ear buds and if you get sound, then the speakers are a problem.
There is something shorting out the amp. What you will need to do is disconect all wires and hook up one at a time. Connect ground, !2 volt and remote see if amp turns on ok. If it does try connecting each speaker seperately to see if either one sends the amp into protect mode. Then connect the rca. See what causes the amp to go into protect mode.
A couple of things to think about. If the radio is new, then the speakers may be bad. If the radio is not new and purchased from someone else, the radio may be bad. You are making sure the volume is turned up right? You did use a harness when hooking the radio up right? That is something I strongly recommend.
Use process of elimination. Connect the speakers that are hooked up to your amp directly to the radio, if they work check your amp. Make sure the rca jacks are connected properly. Sometimes the radio has rca's that are "inputs", make sure they're connected to the "output" rca's. If those are ok, your amp may be faulty. Try the amp on your friend's car see if it works. If it doues your radio might be at fault...or just bad rca cables. like i said, use process of elimination to narrow down the faulty equipment.
First make sure you have the right wire hooked up, there is a Power Antenna wire, and remote turn on wire, and both are blue, but one has a white stripe.. Just make sure the right one is hooked up.
Now if the right wire is hooked up, and still no voltage there are 2 ways to get turn on power to the amp.
Option 1. Buy a LVT (low voltage trip), they come with instructions, and arent very hard to use. They will only turn on the amp when signal is sensed through the speaker leads.
Option 2. (I don't care for this one) Find an accessory fuse in the fuse box (meaning only has voltage when the key is in the on position), and run a wire from there directly to the amp. WARNING ABOUT OPTION 2. This can be noisy, and cause a whine in your speakers, this should be a last option.
If everything is hooked up correctly, you may need to wire harness. It could be a bad capacitor in the audio outputs. Easy to try wire harness first. Sometimes turning off and back on again works.
if you have a amp. hooked to it than yes.if your car wires aren't marked than do what i do......turn music on with speakers unhooked hook both wires up to one speaker,if it sounds clear than that's it. if not switch them.and do the same to the other side. hope this helps.
