Our Sharp xr10x show a pink image after connecting to the laptop but the image is normal color at the start up. I noticed some flickering the last couple of times we used it and tonight it turned to an image that was overlaid with a pink shade. We tried a different laptop and it still was pink after the projector found the computer.

when we first power-on the LV-S3 the image is fine but then a blue haze or shadow slowly spreads in a portion of the left-middle of the image.  changing cords makes no difference.  i should probably add that there is also now no color whatsoever when we use the video setting - we are using the computer/component setting for input.

Panasonic PT-D3500U was working fine - suddenly, it has a pink hue cast over the entire screen and about two layers of ghost shadows extending to the right of each image on the screen.

I have a yellow shadow to objects on my screen and also the yellow on the left and blue on the right. When you are off the the right of the screen it looks ok but when you are lined up with it or close you can see the shadow.

When I turn on my projector I have a yellow box that covers the 95% of the screen without a picture with the bright blue on the edges. I have dis-assembled my unit and found a lens/thin piece of glass that is mounted on a removable plastic frame. Viewing through this glass I see the outline of the box that is projected. The edges seem to be a darker color that would resemble the blue edges. Does anybody know where I can get new /replacement glass slider? My projector is a Mitsubishi HC3

Hi there

Is it a LCD or DLP ?

First try using a different cable. If the problem stil occurs this might be a faulty Mainboard - which would need either repair or replacement.

Does the discolouration show in the startup screen as well ?

It is more likely to be a problem with the laptop. If the projector comes on fine then it isn't seeing the signal. Maybe check the cables and outputs. It may be a setting in the diplay properties. Or the video card has failed. Good luck

There is a blue and yellow shadow on a picture i can not achieve the white balance

the issue described is cause by a bad blue lcd panel. if you use a black/dark image, it will be quite evident. unfortunately you'll need to replace the whole prism block assembly (all 3 LCD's) to fix the problem.

The colors seem out of focus. Blues and yellows don't seem to match. For instance, if I have words projected, it's like I have a blue word with a yellow shadow of the word. And there is a band of blue...

sounds like you have ghosting, this is not adjustable unless you can get into the hidden menu and then you have to know exactly what you are doing. Or the LCD ribbons have come loose. The easiest thing to try is reflashing the software.

White areas in the image are yellow and the black are blue-green

you have a few issues. first is the yellow in white. the light filter on the blue lcd panel is fried due to excessive dust and heat. unfortunately, you may have to replace the whole optical engine. as for the flashing horizontal lines, the power supply isn't cooling down and the caps are drying out, causing fluctuations in voltage. so, replace the power supply.
