Hi,
You probably do not have the latest drivers for your camera. Try this URL...it shows you how you can download and install the drivers for the Vista platform..

Can I use my Visioneer 8920 with my new computer that has windows vista?


Yes you can use the Scanner with Vista O/, However you will not be able to use the same software or Icon like you did before in XP

Once you connect the Scanner to Vista O/S, it will install the pre-installed Drivers for this Scanner.

You will have to use Application programs to SCan like MS Paintbrush, or Windows Gallery or Microsoft Image Edition or PICASA etc.

Or you can also open Control panel and click on SCanners and Camera and double click on the Visioneer Scanner to use it.

Visioneer Scanner Drivers/Software for Vista are not yet available from the manufacturers so this is workaroud for you to use your scanner

I just gotten a new computer with the Windows Vista. I want to install my Visioneer Scanner One touch 9020 USB. Is there a driver I can download to install my scanner to my new computer.


I went herehttp://support.visioneer.com/products/9000/downloads.asp They don't have any drivers for Vista you can try talking to customer service but you might have to buy a new Scanner! Sorry :(

Camera doesn't come on when I try to activate installation.


sotware for cameras dont work for apple unless in UVC mode means plug and play. here is a list of cameras compatiable to apple computers.

DVD video cd cration not available in Nero7 essentials


Nero Vision is not available in the Essentials version. You need to upgrade to the Ultra Edition to get it (actually, you would now need to upgrade to Nero 9 Ultra). If you are running Vista Home Premium or Ultimate, you could also use Windows DVD Maker to create your DVD.

Computer freezes when I connect Logitec web cam


Normal 0 There are a number of things that can cause the computer or the camera to freeze up.
First I’d check to see how much memory is installed in the computer. It takes additional memory to operate the camera.

8100 Visioner conflicts with Vista


Verified to work with Vista Home Premium x64 (should work for x32 as well):


1. Make sure your 8100 is unplugged.


2. Go to Visioneer's website and download drivers for the OneTouch 9420 scanner:

3. Install the drivers. Nothing will work... yet, don't worry.


4. Now plug in your 8100. You'll get a message saying that Vista wants to find drivers. Select "Ask Me Later" or just cancel.


5. Next, open up Control Panel and then Device Manager. Find your 8100 in there (probably listed as "Unknown Device") and then right click on it and say "Update Driver Software". Now click "Browse My Computer For Driver Software" then "Let Me Pick From A List Of Device Drivers On My Computer".

6. Scroll down to "IMAGING DEVICES" then find Visioneer, then you should see the "Visioneer 9420" driver. Select it. You'll get a warning from Vista, but continue anyways. That's it... everything should work.

Unfortunately this scanner is at end of life and I do not think you will find any drivers for Vista.
