THIS IS A MAGNAVOX REMOTE AND A SONY TV

Sony TV codes are: 0128 0013 0002 0071 0380
Brand name and model number to remote control isn't matter. If there is a set-up code preloaded, it must work. If not, try a code search method. Both direct entry method, by which you can try to synchronise the remote, and code search method is given here.
Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.

Code Search
If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

Need to control my zenith tv with theDigitallstream -DTX9950

Hello

I've only one code for Zenit TV at this time. It is "0634". It is the code for Zenith HDSAT_420, HDSAT_520, HDSAT_1080. Sometimes this code may work with your TV also I thinks.

Proceedings

*******************************************************************************************************************

I have a 56" samsung rear projection tv that won't turn on. the red standby light is lit and when i push the power i hear two clicks and the green timer light flashes quickly then the green led stays lit...

I suspect you probably have a bad LED assembly. It could be either the red, green or blue that is bad and give you the same symptom. The problem is locating parts for it as it looks like the light engine is no longer available. I would have a technician look at the TV to verify this and what parts are needed for repair.
