Any ATA/IDE 2.5 inch hard drive will do for your laptop. Unfortunately the ATA models have been replaced with SATA hard drives, so it will be difficult to get a new hard drive. Also, expect to pay more per-gigabyte for the old ATA models in comparison to the standard SATA drives.
I have a Umax astra 2200 scanner that I was running on a Windows 98 machine and I was very happy with it. Unfortunately I now own a Dell Dimension E310 with Windows XP and I cannot get the scanner to install/operate properly. Is appears from the specs that the scanner is not compatable with Windows XP, but is there any software upgrade I can download so that I continue to use this scanner with XP?
The OKI 5200 is a 'GDI' or Windows only printer and does not support PCL or PostScript languages. Most if not all of the printers listed support either PCL or PS or an inkjet based language. I'm afraid you will not be able to print the the 5200 without it's driver loaded on the PDA. If the 5200 supported PCL you would be able to choose any of the Color HP Deskjets.
