Windows Vista to a Wireless DI-624 problems

posted by hamj426 on Apr 17, 2008

I have a Toshiba Sat. lap top with Windows Vista Home Premium That can see the router but can't connect to the internet and so far there is no firmware updates for the router and everything I have seen is because of the new versions of Internet protocols with Vista not be compatible with the router I have found some suggestions for work arounds but they haven't worked. Has anybody have any other work arounds?

It could be a wireless security problem. If your router has a wireless security enabled then its security mode and key needs to be configured on the laptop.

What's the brand/model number of your router? Have you tried connecting the Toshiba Satellite laptop to a different wireless network? Have you already tested a different Vista laptop to connect to your wireless router?

Can you Help with these Wireless Adapters problems?
