Question about Whirlpool GEW9250 Electric Dryer
The dryer does not heat up
I have a Whirlpool Gas Dryer also, model #LGR4634JQ2. No clog in duct, no dust in unit. My dryer runs fine but no heat. I have replaced the heater coil and still no heat. The coil does not get hot and there is no smell of gas. Has anyone had this problem after replacing heater unit? I have a feeling the problem is in the timer dial. Timer #3976584. This timer is not available locally, actually no parts are. Testing each part out separately isn't an option.

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.
