Phone turned off, while I was charging it. Then it is not turning on, seems like dead. Could be a battery issue?

My phone will not hold a charge, I actually switch out batteries but they die out with in 4 hours of no use less then that if I use the phone, So I know it isn't the battery because I switch between 3 different batteries.

Hi, 1) check the battery and contacts make sure they are clean.
2) Make sure battery is fully charged. 3) Make sure that charger is working, get a volt meter to check. 4) Take the battery out and press and hold the power button, this will drain any residual power in the laptop. Hold button for 1 minute. Replace the fully charged battery and try again. If this doesn't fix this bring it to a repair shop.
Good luck.

Asus MeMO Pad HD 7 won't turn on or charge.

Ah ASUS. I have a Memo 10. Had the same problem when it was 6 days new. Asus has a UI that is bad.

1. First try to charge via USB to your computer. If you get any result good, leave it a bit.

2. Leave it plugged in and see if it will turn on. If you can get it to turn on ... do this.

3. Find the back up and restore/factory reset. Back up your data, pics, music. etc.

4. Do a factory reset... it will say everything of yours will be delted. Proceed.

5. Restart the tablet.

6. Go into settings and TURN OFF Asus's UI. On my Memo 10, under settings is a menu called "Asus Customized settings" in the sub-menu turn OFF "Use ASUS Quick Setting" yours may say something a bit different.

7. Restart. The look will be different but no worries. On the upper right see if your tablet it charging. It will be a battery with green and black and a lightening bolt in it. If it is charging try your wall wart charger.

Good luck!

Could be a bad battery or charging circuits of motherboard. If laptop boots up when plugged in check under your control panel for power options then look to see if it shows charging. If it shows your charging but the battery doesnt charge then you have a bad battery

My Asus K55A-DH71 laptop, was fully charged less than 24 hours ago; it hasn't been used or on since, and when i powered it up, it only had 6% power.

Fully charge it and take the battery out and let it sit for 24 hours and then put the battery back and power it on. Sounds like the battery is losing its life.

Does your unit power on at all or is it just not charging the battery?

If it's just not charging your battery the likely cause is the battery has just gotten used up, replacements are usually between $50 and $89 CAD

Asus ASUS A53U-ES21 wont power on

In order for the AC adapter to work the battery must be in good condition, why? Because the system runs of battery the AC adapter just keeps the battery charged up while in use, if the battery is open or defective the computer will not run on just the AC adapter.

My Asus Eee PC 1001PXD battery won't charge. The charges light is on but nothing happens and now the battery is completely dead and I cannot get my notebook on

Your problem is far more than the battery. Your problem is the power cord. Laptops for the most part will work off the power cord even if the battery is dead or even if the battery is not in the laptop. Your power cord charges your battery and if it is bad it will not charge it. You've been working off your battery even though you might have had the power cord plugged in, but if it's bad and not charging the battery, the battery drains and then you can't get the laptop to power on at all. Go purchase a ac adapter and power cord that is designed for your system. Don't buy one that some of the big box stores sell that has a an interchangeable plug at the end designed to fit just about any laptop. Those will eventually burn *********** board out.
