OK, here is my guide to Remove Acer Bios password computer via Software. This has been done on testing machine Laptop Acer Aspire 3620/ Travel Mate 2420. check connections of hard drive. 2nd check boot order in Bios, remove Lan or network boot from top order. 3rd choice if not solved reset bios by removing cmos battery and putting back in to clear it.

To reset Bios Password
1.     Turn your computer off.
2.     Unplug all the cables.
3.     Open the tower.
4.     On the System Board, you can find PSWD jumper placed in pins. 
5.     Remove it and from pin 1 and 2, then put it in 2 and 3.
6.     Turn the computer on.
7.     turn off the computer and put the jumper back to the same pin.
8.     Start the computer and your BIOS password is reseated.
