Question about Malber WD1000 Front Load Washer/Dryer

MALBER WD 1000 - UNSPUN HERO

Hello to all,

REGULAR washloads spin on HIGH (900rpm or higher) and is #4 option on cycle knob (far right next to power light). I use this when I wash my delicates BY HAND but want to spin them out so I can hang them up to dry.

Here\'s what I do: open door, load drum, close door, SET to #4 on cycle knob (which...again is HIGH SPIN).

When using #4 on the cycle knob to HIGH SPIN my panties...it spins at the DELCIATES (550rpm), which is useless.

1) Am I missing something? Should I be using a setting in conjunction with the #4 HIGH SPIN setting? For example, The drying cycle will not perform unless the HALF LOAD button is pushed in.

2) Am I interrupting the cycle by bypassing STEPS 1-3? Do we need to clear the setting somehow?

3) Am I paying too much for my panties, therefore, causing grief simply by wanting this machine to function properly?

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!

**** need not repsond!

Thanks!

hmmm....? Well, I am here...with cycle set on #3, which is PERMANENT PRESS MODE...which is also rinsing cycles. I have it also set for EXTRA RINSE. (?)

Is this what you mean? ...#3

    Thanks!

Use the rinse cycle on the machine in conjunction with the spin that should solve the problem

    Hi Sonia,

the Malber has had that problem for a while.

the motherboard indeed sometimes does not want to comply if you put it on 4 directly. What according to a few customers would help is to put it on 6 the rinse and spin cycle to get a higher spin speed. But the # 3 option should work too but will take a little longer.

The extra rinse is not needed.

    Hope this will help you.

How do I dry only

When using the WD-1000 as a Dryer only, are you turning the rightmost knob Clockwise to the correct starting point?
Looking at the periphery of the knob, at the bottom, see the elongated "sausage" shape, outlined in blue? Turn the knob so it passes "Stop", and points there.
At the end of a completed Wash Cycle, that is where the pointer will be pointing. Once there, the machine switches automatically to Dryer Mode.
As long as the middle dial is set to a timer length greater than zero, the drying begins. I recommend turning the middle dial to somewhere around 2:00 o'clock, which corresponds to about 90 minutes if I remember correctly.
(You'll notice that is in the "Orange" area, meaning Full Heat - which is always fine because it never gets too hot anyway)

So, turn right dial to point to the "white sausage" at the bottom of the dial; Turn middle dial to 90 mins, or so; (Left dial only controls "Spin" speed - just set to max); and close the door. (It should begin drying)

How do you get the water to drain in the Malber WD100 washer/dryer combo?

Hi. I''m assuming you are referring to a WD1000.
To initiate the drain cycle: Rotate far right knob CLOCKWISE to Position 4. It may take 30-45 seconds to recognize the knob's new position, but then it will begin an 11 minute Slow Tumble/Pump Out cycle. During this cycle you'll see the internal drum slowly rotate CW for 60 seconds, pause, then rotate CCW for 5 secs - then repeat. All this time the pump will run and you'll hear water running down the drain. When you hear no more water you can rotate same knob to "straight up", and stop the machine. To turn power off, press the rightmost button.

Dry cycle

Try setting the washer dial to the stop setting at the end of setting number 4 then set the dryer timer and turn on the machine.  This works for mine to get the dryer to run by itself.  It should begin about 30 seconds later, when the door locks.  Hope this helps.

No final spin

I haven't experienced that problem, but is it possible that the machine becomes unbalanced with the spinning load and then aborts the spin, so it doesn't finish? Has the machine been properly leveled during installation?
