Cpu went bad and I am planing on replacing the cpu, I know the type needed but want to know what the fastest process the systemboard can handle for the cpu as I don't have a systemboard manual for a prebuild acer M1100 unit.

When one VLANIF interface is configured on the S3700/S5700EI, the switch delivers an ACL to match ARP packets in the corresponding VLAN so that the matched packets are sent to the control plane. If more than eight VLANIF interfaces are configured on the S3700 or more than 32 VLANIF interfaces are configured on the S5700EI, the switch delivers only one ACL to match all ARP packets in the corresponding VLAN so that all these packets are sent to the control plane for processing. This ACL also matches Layer 2 ARP packets on other interfaces in the same VLAN. If too many Layer 2 ARP packets are forwarded, the control plane is overloaded and the CPU usage becomes high. CPU upgraded sucesfully on X50gl BIOS 222 from T3200 to a T9550. (59% faster !!). CPU available at alliexpress. Change process showed on some videos on youtube.
Set the fastest route. The shortest route will take you off motorways and up narrower roads. Garmin satnavs know the difference between fastest and shortest.
5vdc & 12vdc are the two easiest becasue they are are the ones which are on the connector which supplies the Hard Drive you have just replaced
Red is 12v Positive Yellow is 5v Positive and the black wire is Neutral
You can remove the main board connector from the power supply to the MB but you need a copy of the Motherboard installation manual to tell you what supplies are on that connector
This is a problem with the cpu on the systemboard. I've seen this problem many times if the DS Lite is felt to the ground. The contacts of the cpu are very fragile. The DS Lite turns on, green led available, even charche is working bot nothing else. Repair of this problem is almost impossible. The only thing you can do is send it to Nintendo.
You can test if it is the cpu by removing the bottom of the DS Lite and put the battery on te contacts. Press firmly on slot 1 (the aluminium cover) and turn the DS Lite on. If you got a picture on the screens then you know it for sure. The cpu is located under slot 1 and by pressing on de top of the slot you are pressing possible loose contacts back on de systemboard.
If it is not working then the cpu is to musch damaged.
you should get the systemboard replaced and regarding the power button its a less expensive but replacing the systemboard needs to be replaced as two power supply cannot be bad.
Look for socket A processors and ignore the XXXX+ and focus on the XXXXMHz rating (the MoBo's manufacturer's support site will give you the max processor your Board will handle). Since you mention that your MoBo is 4 to 5 years old, you'll probably better serve yourself to replace the MoBo and processor (you'll be able to upgrade to a much better/faster processor by upgrading both, and shouldn't cost that much more), and probably be happier with the result. You may want/need to upgrade your Power supply while you are at it too.
