D04-534 means incorrect ink cartridge set. This could be caused either
a) it IS the incorrect ink cartridge, or b) the RF tag that is struck to
the end of the ink bottle is damaged. Try a new ink bottle. Make
sure to use RISO ink designed and made specific for an RZ230.

T-4 is an ink overflow condition. You may need to check and clean out ink section of drum. Remove the ink then press reset button. Then turn off and on and re-insert ink.
